When you first start ScanDBX, you will be asked whether or not you wish to download the most recent diagnosis files for the ScanDBX Troubleshooting Wizard, with the dialog box below:
To download new data files, click “Yes” (recommended). You can also choose to have ScanDBX download these files automatically in the future, without prompting you to click “Yes” each time you run the Troubleshooting Wizard.
If you choose to have ScanDBX download the most up-to-date versions of these files (recommended), the confirmation dialog will disappear and a progress dialog will appear in its place. Please be patient while ScanDBX downloads the update; it may take a while, particularly if you have a dial-up internet connection. While ScanDBX is downloading the file you can click “Cancel” to skip the download step and use the files stored on your local computer.
Once the most recent files have been downloaded and unpacked, ScanDBX will automatically launch the Troubleshooting Wizard.
